Last year was the first time in five years we had missed the cherry bloom, and I’m so glad to be back for it this year! In this spirit, here comes another collection of close-up shots of the Sakura. Looking up at the clouds of delicate white and pink against a blue sky never loses its charm to me! Whole streets and river banks suddenly appear all in pink and change completely their appearance for a few short days. I feel like there is never enough time to see all the cherry blossoms viewing spots that are worth seeing. The transience of the sakura is part of its charm. While some trees still have unopened buds, others have already started raining down petals and my heart aches a little bit to see them falling. But there are still a few days left of the season and I am determined to make the best of them!
