Akkeshi Bay, Arctic Iris and Horses (Picture Book)

On our Hokkaido trip, we also visited the sleepy fishing town of Akkeshi (厚岸), reachable by train from Kushiro. The train slowly makes its way on a single track through untouched nature towards the town, once in a while scaring a deer or a fox.
